We have also assisted our clients in using a variety of charitable gifting techniques such as charitable lead annuity trusts (CLATs), charitable remainder annuity trusts (CRATs) and charitable remainder unitrusts (CRUTs).  Whether we recommend a basic or extensive estate plan, our attorneys have experience in working with individuals and families in order to find the best estate plan to suit the client’s individual needs and expectations. 

Estate and Trust Administration

We are sensitive to the fact that when a loved one passes away, it is often a very emotional and confusing time for those who survive.  We have provided caring guidance to numerous generations of clients in the estate administration process in order to ensure the appropriate payment of claims, the proper filing of income and estate tax returns, the accounting for all assets, income and expenses, and the distribution of property to the decedent’s heirs.

Long Term Care Planning  

Many families struggle with the financial burden of nursing home care.  We assist our clients in responsibly using existing assets and income, long term care insurance, and Medicaid benefits to pay long-term care bills.
